About the facilitator

Christine Scott is a pioneer in Equine assisted education and training in Australia. She has developed a unique system which guides people towards a greater awareness of self, deeper understanding of life, fuller relationships and knowledge that allows them the possiblity of changing their experience of life

Communication plays a key role in our lives, our relationships (both human and equine) and in the workplace.We all have the innate ability to communicate on different levels and to get our message across clearly, but stress, anxiety and our own fears can interfere with this process.

The workshop in Sweden will be tailored to the needs of the individuals involved. Participants will interact directly with horses under the supervision of experienced equine facilitator, Christine Scott. Discussion and contemplation activities are also used to open new or forgotten pathways.

Horses are involved as co-facilitators to help develop communication, life and work skills in an environment where having fun is paramount. Riding is not a key component of our workshops. The interaction between participants and the horses at Soderasens Forsgard largely occcurs on the ground in a non-threatening environment.

This experience can lead to improved teamwork (both with your horse & with human co-workers), greater enjoyment of the workplace and the generation of new, positive ideas.

Language

The workshops will be held in English. There will be a limit of 12 participants.

Cost

The cost of the workshop is 3570SEK/person for the two days.

Participants can arrive on the Friday afternoon after 4pm on the night prior to the workshop. The evening meal and one extra night will cost 400SEK inclusive.

Fees will only be refunded if the event is cancelled by the organizers. You are welcome to find someone to replace you if you for some reason find you cannot attend. A 20% deposit of 714SEK will secure your place in the workshop. Full payment is to be made by 31st August 2008.

The workshop

The workshop will run from 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 16:00 (Subject to change)
